Isso se evidencia atrav\u00e9s de modelos e refer\u00eancias que s\u00e3o importados e adaptados \u00e0 realidade do Sul Global.\u00a0De acordo com o autor e com base em outros estudos analisados para produzir o artigo, \u201co metabolismo constante de ideias \u2018estrangeiras\u2019 produziu uma rica tradi\u00e7\u00e3o h\u00edbrida, impulsionada pelo interesse em peneirar bagagens te\u00f3ricas e debates do Norte Global de acordo com interpreta\u00e7\u00f5es e apropria\u00e7\u00f5es locais e regionais\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">No \u00e2mbito internacional das pesquisas, h\u00e1 uma s\u00e9rie de normas a serem seguidas como forma de padroniza\u00e7\u00e3o. Essa integra\u00e7\u00e3o se d\u00e1 por meio da inclus\u00e3o de pesquisadores em corpos editoriais e a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o de pesquisas para outros idiomas, al\u00e9m do ingl\u00eas. No entanto, as desigualdades ainda s\u00e3o existentes\u00a0e a\u00e7\u00f5es para mudan\u00e7as estruturais devem ser pensadas para alterar esse cen\u00e1rio. \u201cN\u00e3o \u00e9 algo que se resolve com cotas de representa\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, pondera o autor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">O autor utiliza o conceito de descoloniza\u00e7\u00e3o como um motivador para tais mudan\u00e7as. \u201cAs desigualdades da academia global est\u00e3o enraizadas na hist\u00f3ria do colonialismo intelectual\u201d, afirma Waisbord e lembra que qualquer mudan\u00e7a exige um trabalho de longo prazo. \u201cImplica em \u00a0mudar o centro institucional global dos estudos de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d, diz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">De acordo com sua reflex\u00e3o, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio \u00a0\u201cconvocar a\u00e7\u00f5es conjuntas em v\u00e1rias dire\u00e7\u00f5es e inst\u00e2ncias, e reconhecer que os obst\u00e1culos est\u00e3o fundamentados em desigualdades econ\u00f4micas e pol\u00edticas\u201d. J\u00e1 \u201cdecolonial\u201d se refere \u00e0 colonialidade, conceito que parte da premissa de que, mesmo que o colonialismo tenha terminado, h\u00e1 a continuidade do poder colonial e, portanto, existe a necessidade de um movimento te\u00f3rico-pol\u00edtico de contraposi\u00e7\u00e3o. Em que pese essa diferen\u00e7a, ainda h\u00e1 autores e tradutores que tratam os termos como sin\u00f4nimos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; font-size: 17px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\">A\u00a0<span style=\"color: rgb(132, 63, 161);\"><a style=\"font-size: 17px; color: rgb(132, 63, 161);\" href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Decolonialidade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">decolonialidade<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00e9 uma escola de pensamento utilizada primordialmente por intelectuais e ativistas latino-americanos.
